The award ceremony took place on Wednesday 22 May 2019 (time: 19:00-21:00) at the Library of Goethe-Institut Athen.

Wiki Loves EU is a competition that aims at the improvement and enrichment of Wikipedia articles (in Greek), related to the history and the institutions of the European Union. The competition was organised -for the very first time- this year in Greece, in the context of Europe Day (May 9).

The first winner will travel to Bucharest (Romania) between September-October 2019, and participate in the final event of the project “A new narrative for Europe: Bringing more union into the European Union”, which is co-funded by the Europe for Citizens Programme of the European Union.* The other two winners received two gift cards of €150 and €100 respectively.

* The transportation and accommodation costs of the trip will be covered by Inter Alia. In case the winner is under 18 years old, the presence of an accompanying person is required. However, Inter Alia cannot cover her/his transportation and accommodation costs.
